Residential Turf
Front yards, backyards, and side yards in Cibolo neighborhoods, taken from excavation through the final grooming.
See Residential TurfCibolo and Schertz share a border, a school district, and the same stubborn clay. From our base on FM 78 in Schertz, most Cibolo addresses are a few minutes up the road. Schertz Turf Pros installs artificial turf for Cibolo homeowners and businesses who want a green lawn without the watering days and the weekend work.
We take on residential lawns, pet turf, putting greens, and commercial projects all over Cibolo, from Turning Stone and Saddle Creek Ranch to the streets around Old Town.

Cibolo's city water arrives through the Canyon Regional Water Authority from the Guadalupe River and the Carrizo Aquifer, sources that hold up better in a drought than the Edwards. Even so, the city enforces mandatory watering rules all year, with assigned days and hours for sprinklers. Homes on Green Valley SUD water follow that district's own drought stages on top of that.
Add fast growth to the picture. A large share of Cibolo's lawns began as builder sod on graded clay, and many of them were thinning by their second summer. Artificial grass doesn't care what day it is or which utility sends the bill. It stays green through the heat, drains after a storm, and never needs mowing, edging, or fertilizer.

See Residential Turf
Quick-draining, easy-rinse turf for dog yards and runs, so a rainy week doesn't end with a muddy house.
See Pet Turf
Custom backyard greens with true breaks, cups placed where you like, and fringe for chipping.
See Putting Greens
Turf for HOA amenity areas, apartment dog parks, patios, and storefronts along FM 78, FM 1103, and Cibolo Valley Drive.
See Commercial TurfMost of Cibolo is built on the same dark prairie clay as Schertz. It holds water, swells, then dries and splits, and a lawn laid over it never sits still. Along Cibolo Creek and Town Creek, yards tend to be lower and stay damp after rain. In the newest sections, lots were cut and filled during construction, so the soil can change from one corner of a yard to the other.
We build the base for what we find. Deep clay gets a deeper dig and a thicker bed of compacted rock. Low yards get extra slope or a drain line so water has somewhere to go. Fill dirt gets compacted before any rock goes on top. Under shade trees, we trim the turf around the trunks and leave the roots room, and the turf stays full because it doesn't need sun.

Our crews install turf across Cibolo, including Turning Stone, Mesa at Turning Stone, Saddle Creek Ranch, Buffalo Crossing, Bentwood Ranch, Heights of Cibolo, Cibolo Valley Ranch, Gatewood, Saratoga, and the older streets near Main Street. If you're a little past the city limits, toward Marion or out along FM 1103, we cover that as well.

Not for turf. Each provider sets its own watering days and drought stages, and a turf lawn doesn't need any of them.
That's up to each HOA. We'll provide samples and specifications for your request and wait to schedule until it's approved.
